I shot this 9 point on 11/11 at 11:00am. He came in looking for doe. I watched him make 3 rubs and a scrape. The shot was 20 yards and he only went 40. My equipment includes: MARTIN SLAYR BOW, stone mountain dakota strings and cables, super scope 3x, trophy taker drop away, CBE pro lite sight, vibracheck stabilizers, carter lock jaw release, carbon express 3D select arrows, NAP spitfire heads and nikon binoculars.

Great job!Thats a great deer.I just purchased a 2005 slayr. Would you take the time to give me your overall appraisal of your slayr, longsuits and shortcomings. Thanks

Yeah, I am looking at the slayer, but I want a forgiving bow, and with the short brace height I dont think it would be that forgiveing:)

I just love the slayr. I own 4 of them right now. I shoot them for everything from hunting, indoor dots, outdoor fita, field and 3D. The bow aims so solid. It has no hand shock....very quiet and has blistering speed. The first year I shot one just for 3d and found the extra speed very helpful. After some hesitation I tried it indoors and wish I would have tried it sooner. It's an awesome all around bow. I have shot 60X indoor rounds, field rounds in the mid 550s and now a P&Y buck all with a slayr. I couldn't ask for anymore out of a bow. I can't wait to get my slayer extreme and see if it's possible that martin made the perfect bow even better.
