i really like the ccs.i did have the rod on for about 4 months and and i just wanted to try the ccs and the sts so i spent 84$ on it.i liked the fact it pushed me up to 73lbs with he ccs and also i did notice my bow was much smother to draw, because of that i will notbe buying any 2011 and up martin bow's.i will be buying another 2010 bengal or 2 in the future.i really like my bengal...and the ccs just looks kick a$$ on the bow

A 5lbs increase usually so its something to keep in mind. I think a ccs is a good thing on a short bow, the cable slide can wear quick due to the angles.

Im a big fan of the CCS, smoother, quiet,no wear on string and cable just better all around.

Lol! Seriously, I think you need a 1/2 longer cable with the CCS. Do a search. :)

that would make sence seeing as the ccs does pull your cable a ways out.but when i orderd my wc strings/cable the gave me a cable that was a half inch longer and a string that was a half inch shorter.did not know why but all worked out fine

Another name would be a shoot-through system. Here's a picture:http://www.bullseyebows.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/-617741405658540490.jpg

That doesnt look like the x setup i remember, all that was needed was longer axles and string and cable setup!maybe im not thinking straight...........The one im thinking of was on a 2006 rytera bullet x,that was a sweet shooter too.

You're right. It's not a standard Martin X system. Looks like he used some Duvawhoppies (sp) and just incorporated it to the X modules. I have seen them before, but forget who makes them. I thought it was Spot Hogg, but they're not on that website, at least not any more.
Just have to edit. Did a search on AT. The Duvawhoppis are made by Dave Barnesdale.

Here's a standard Martin X system set-up as seen from the shooters side. This one is the 55#er.
