Can anyone help me out with the ATA and BH of a 2010 Shadowcat. I don't mean the Martin published specs, I mean actual specs from a bow.
I have just put a set of Nitro 2 cams on my 2010 cat, and something is not quite right.

What do you mean something is not right? Explain!!

Mine was 41.5" ATA and 7.5" brace height I think, can't tell now its in pieces.
So what specs do you have with the nitro's?

I've got 41" ATA and 7.5" BH. If I compare that to my 2011 SC, which has Nitro 2 cams, BH is the same but the ATA on the 2011 bow is 41.25".
I have been advised to lengthen the string and shorten the cables a little, so that will be next, I just though knowing the actual specs of a 2010 SC might shed a little light.
They both have Barnsdale limbs, although the limbs on the 2011 bow came off a Rytera. Limb length is the same though, so it's not that.
Of course I did not take any measurements before I stripped the 2010 bow, as I knew I had the 2011 to compare it to....... lets not go there eh?

Not far off then, is the draw weight correct?

Nah we shouldn't hey. Especially since I had to remember the specs instead of reading them lol! ;)

I've not checked draw weight, as I'm still messing with ATA and BH. I keep the bows wound back while they are in and out of the press.

Thanks for that.
Looks like I need to get busy with the string and cables.
EDIT: I lengthened the string a little and shortened the cables until I had the cams sitting in exactly the same position on both bows. I then checked BH, which is pretty much spot on spec, with ATA almost exactly 1/2" too short. A few shots just to bed things in and all appears to be well. Next job will be to fit a sight and then it will be chronos time, as I set the weight of all my bows over the chrono to around 300 fps.

No cam/cable clearance problems?
