for you arrow gurus out there,could you please explain to me what the difference in these two fletching opitions are?.if your right handed is fletching with right helical the way to go or straight or offset? confused!:confused:

It doesn't really matter.

Helical kind of makes the vanes take on an S shape. Straight is straight. I don't think either gives significantly more spin.

Straight is usually done with an offset to give some spin.

Although straight with no offset might not leave you happy it does make it easy to know exactly what is going wrong with the shots.
I use a helical clamp and I'm thinking of getting a straight clamp just to fletch up some arrows with no offset just for tuning.
