string leeches

hey i was just wondering where the string leeches should be tied in or if it even matters? Dumb question i guess!!!

It's usually advisable, but if there are enough twists in the string, meaning a complete twist in 2" or less, things might be tight enough that you don't need to. I know I don't, but then I don't shoot cheap, generic strings either.
