Recurve strings

I was wondering if I was able to use a fast-flight string on my Martin Howatt Hunter recurve (55#)? I plan on using the bow for hunting the archery season this fall in Pennsylvania. I sent an email but have not recieved a reply yet. Thanks

How old is your bow?

Laminating glues have improved so dramatically over the last decade that it's generally advisable to use B-50 strings on any bow that the manufacturer doesn't specifically mention using fast flight.

You have to continually keep an eye on your brace height if you use B-50. It will stretch on you, especially if left strung in a car that builds up any heat.
