I have a Maverick Pro Series 3-D with the Micro Tune cable system, 55-70lb Tracer Cams and 28" drawlength. Bow #36167.
I purchased this new on 7 Nov 94. I just checked the bow and the string has seperated. My owners manual has the information page filled in and it shows the string length to be 62"
I laid out the string on the floor and it measures about 72"
The string attaches directly to the cams.
The manual states to use at least 18 strand low stretch Spectra or Vectran type material.
My question is is the string length (62") that I wrote in my manual correct for this bow?
I do not know exactly how strings are measured, but as I stated above the broken string appears to be about 72" long.
