I keep hearing of people putting a sts on thier bows to make them quieter. So what is a sts?

sts stands for (shock terminator suppressor) an u can mount it in the front are rear stablizer holes its like a metal rod with a rubber stopper on the end that keep the string from travelin past its restin point and helps remove viration an it suppost to make bows with 34-40 a2a more quiet and bows with 28-33 more forgivin, i dont have that system but i hear nothin but good things about it, oyea i herd that it also helps with not lettin the sting hittin yea arm too..
