View Full Version : Painted my Shadowcat
I got tired of looking at my poor Shadowcat looking kind of bored. So I desided to give her a face lift.

Well done, that ShadowCat has an expressive personality, also like the pose in the shooting image. Excellent!

I did the paint job here at my house. It was done with the process called Swirling.
I am hoping I might get some side work doing some bow, after my next shoot if ppl like wht I did on my Shadowcat. Figure trying to get 100 bucks per riser, and see if I get any bites.
I have everything all set up in my garage and ready to rock and roll.

Very nice job. I like how the bow matches the fletching.

That is what I was shooting for, to match my fletching, string and cables.

I have a blue 55 gallon barrel and I used Testors model paint, but I am going to order some Humbrol paint. It is said to be the best paint for doing this.
Water temp is the most important part of the whole prosses. I posted a link to the web site I learned from.
