Hello,
I own a X-200 55Lb at 28" recurve, I would like to get a new string also some semi custom wooden arrows for this bow Can anyone tell me the length of the string I would need for this bow. I have a alright one now but I believe it is too long or too short as it just does not feel right to me when I shoot it, And I cannot find the old string that I had on the bow.

The AMO Length is 60" The actual length is about 3" shorter (57")

4" shorter---56" long. Doesn't matter though. You buy a string marked 60" AMO. The same as the bow. String makers compensate automatically and make them the 4" shorter. One in the package marked 60" AMO will be 56".
