My family and I will be shooting a 42 target 2 arrow 3-D this Sunday.
Targets range anywheres from 10 feet all the way out to 80 yards. There is one up hill shot that is 101 yards. It's one of many of my clubs shoots put on throughout the year.

Hope you have a good day Don.

I'm going down to Devon to Ashcombe Valley Archers.

Not sure if it's 36 or 40 targets, but it will be a good shoot.

How did it go Don?

The shoot I went to turned out to be a 36 shot 3D course ;)

My lack of competition experience is still taking it's toll, but I managed 2nd in my class, so that will do.

My wife, son and myself shot our clubs shoot today. It was a 2 arrow 42 target 3-D.
We had just over 200 shooters show up, it was a real good turn out. The range was set up real nice with some awsome targets.
The weather couldn't of been any nicer, it was in the low to mid 80's.
My son was in from Fl. for the weekend (had a wedding to go to) and didn't kown about the shoot untill the day before he was to fly out here. I told him to bring his sight and peep and we could set up my back up Shadowcat. We went out Friday so he could sight it in, this was the first time he has ever shot this bow. I gave him some HT-2's that had left from a doz, 8 of them, to shoot. This was also his first time shooting with his mom it was a memory he will never forget. Well my son finished 4th out of 29 shooters in his class Adult Male Bowhunter freestyle. My wife finished 2nd in her class Adult Female Bowhunter non-sights-fingers. I finished 3rd with my HT-4's in the Adult Male Bowhunter class non-sights-fingers. The first pics are of me then some target pics. Then my son, DJ. Next is my wife, Sue. All in all it was a great day.

thanks for the photos don.

tiny little fish target there. how far was it?

i've only shot the carp once, at a comp in my first 3d year. they had it about a foot under water, attached to a pole which was roped in to score the arrows and then set out again. we shot it from a creek bank, down nearly a 45 degree angle at less than 10 metres. it looked heaps bigger and further right under the clear water. haven't seen one since, oh and remind sue to shoot some arrows. we have australian 3d titles in a few weeks so i'm out shooting as much as i can.

Good day Minnie,
The carp target was set at about 10-15 yards. Sue and I went out to the range Sunday and shot about 2 hours, it go to hot as the day went on so it was a short day.
