hey hutch , i did venture into adjusting that cable guide rod to a minimal clearance to the fl etching ,was aprox a 1/4 before ,now its about best put its just enough ,question is dose this change the draw poundage any?or better said did i lose any speed , i dont have a scale or a chrono, for some strange reason it seems easier to draw back, one thing i also noticed that little bit of cam lean i had is gone. let me know mike

This ain't Hutch, but I can answer your question. The adjustment you made is a good thing. Any change to the draw length or draw weight is very minimal. You wouldn't be able to measure it. By reducing the side load it ccaan make the bow draw smoother due to less friction and any time you can reduce cam lean (limb twist) you are doing yourself and the bow a favor.

thanks Barry, fer the info, for some strange reason the bow just draws easier,as a matter of fact ,it seems to be more forgiving as well, thanks again

Hey, smoother draw means it makes you feel better, although it might be be just psychological. Less cam lean means better string tracking with less lateral nock travel. These aren't hard to figure out once you think about it.
