Ok everyone lets see what kind of rest you use for your style of shooting.
This is a flipper I made at work. I drew it up and cut it out on the waterjet I run.

Got no pictures, but I use Cavalier Free Flyte rests on all my finger bows.

For a long time I have had them set to retract when I loose, but the new generation of loooong smoooth cams with a little bump before the valley, means I keep forgetting the bump, pulling too hard and knocking the arrow off the rest, so I have changed them all to a similar system to the one Don's using.

It might work for finger shooters too, it depends how quickly the arms retract.

Interesting.

A friend of mine just put a revolution rest on his omen last weekend after seeing one on another bow.
Seems to work alright and he he likes it so that is what matters.
I don't care for how far behind the riser it mounts, I'll stick with my qad.

I am using a Bodoodle Zapper 300. I definitely like it, since it holds my arrow while hunting.

you don't know what your missing... lots of things can be done , when you fletch your own...

I use a prong rest, a Quicktune to be exact .. just like the less moving parts I guess.... fobs is the only reason i see for a drop away. ;)
