Chose Slick Trick 100 mags and WOW!!!

Well I was trying to decide between Reapers and STs since they both were hitting the same spot as the FPs this morning. Got in the blind and nocked the GR but my anxiety overtook me wondering if all would go ok so changed to the ST and all I can say is never had a BH do this type of damage in 17 yrs. Was shooting Thunderheads prior to this year. Was always concerned about quartering at me shots but after shooting the Tricks this morning was confident I could do it with my set up when is presented the angle tonight. Shot was 20 yds into front left shoulder and blew thru off shoulder like butter destroying the lungs. She nose dived immediately and after scooting 25 yds was done, never lost sight of her. Definitely looked like a slug hole or even the rifle holes I had on my gun deer this year!! Best thing is they fly right with the FPs and this one hit right where it was sent.

good hit... looks like you made the right choise.... have heard lots of good input on that BH 2nd link works just fine edit and remove 1st link

what are you using now Bill..I still have plenty of muzzy and a few tallon's I want to bore a hole threw some big bucks with.
Know of some elk who fell to them slick tricks. so whats a poor whitetail going do...lol

Yeah I'd say they're working, especially when you make this shot! Nice shooting parttimr! :) Time to try your hand at sausage making! Yummy!

Congrats on the deer! Glad to hear you like the ST's. I've shot my last 3 deer with them, and I love them. Just decided to switch to Shuttle T-Locks after seeing what they do last year. Same damage, better penetration.

you will be glad you did... ave your dry spices ready to add after your all ground up...also add back fat as you grind you will geta better mix...good luck and enjoy the sausage....
