View Full Version : Got a draw length problem

Hey guys and gals I got a problem. I received a martin leopard for an early Christmas present. The problem is my draw length was told to be 25.75 but is closer to 26.5 to 27. The bow doesn't go that high. I was wondering if you could swap a module or cam to fix the situation. I haven't even shot it yet. I can't see through the peep its too far away. Any idea is welcome because right now I'm sick.

Does your bow have an F7 module on it? That's the longest one. If you need a little more length you could twist the cable up some. Other than that I'd say you need a bow that has a longer draw length range.
As for the peep being so far from your eye? This is something you have to get used to if you want to shoot short axle to axle bows. What creates this problem is the acute string angle. It's not the bow's fault. Who chose the bow for you? Something to consider in the future.
Just one other reason I prefer bows between 36 &39" in length, even with my 27" draw.
