Just came back from my moms Christmas gathering. I made Bacon wrapped deerourvs and thought I would share how to make them here with my fellow Martin friends. They are very simple and work well with skinned goose breast as well. First you slice your raw deer, goose, or turkey into about one inch cubes. Marinade in the fridge with your favorite teriyaki marinade, I like KC Materpiece honey teriyaki at least a couple hours over nite is even better. I make two different kind one with water chesnuts slices and another with canned jalapeno slices. You take a cube of marinated meat put a slice of water chesnut or jalapeno with it and wrap with a piece of bacon, stick it together with a toothpick. Bake on a cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven until the bacon gets browned and the meat is done. Should be around 10 to 15 minutes. They are best kept warm for serving. I made two dozen of each kind and they were all gone no left overs for me.
