Congrats on your new bow. I'm sure you will get many years of enjoyment out of it.

That is the first Silencer/FC400 that I have seen the strings cross above the cable guide. It isn't wrong or bad, just not like the ones I've seen before. Since I have a FC400 it stood out.

I do know that they come from the factory with the cross below the slide.

Slick! I got my eyes on a Silencer also. Would have to get a TRG conversion done on it though.

As long as the cables don't touch each other, it doesn't matter if they cross above or below the slide. Congrats on a good looking bow!

I must have a cheap or generic slide because the cables do touch where they cross.I see alot of slides out there have an offset to them so that they dont.May have to get one to save me a headache in the future.

I don't know on the Martins but it makes a big differance on my Guardian. It's louder and shoots way to the right. Was pulling my hair out trying to figure it out.

all mine cross at the bottom of the slide rod! as for the cables touching , get one of martins grey cable slides, they are the best i've found!

I would just take the cables out of the slide and see where they 'naturally' cross, then reinstall the slide with
that orientation.
