Well Guys, I have been surprised by a Pink Leopard. We shot it through the Chrony. The bow is set for 33lb dw, 22.5 dl, arrow weight is 310 and length is 25.5" (arrow is a little long). It averaged 175 to 176fps consistently. Not bad for a young girly bowhttp://d2bbx2n1xhw9pj.cloudfront.net/forums/images/smilies/th_smiley_emoticons_wink3.gif. Gonna cut the arrows down to size and see what then. The more she shoots the more she is apt to increase dw. So far so good. Now its time to get the wife a bow.

More apt to incress draw weight as well, especially since young ladies continue to grow. Pretty zippy for a 33 # 22.5 draw.

Just how low can you go to still have a viable bow at 30 yards? My grandsons are starting with a Genesis Pro to just learn archery, but the oldest is 11 and this year I will get him through the hunter safety class so he can get a license. The Martin Bengel sure looks like a bow anyone could grow into, start him at 35lbs and turn it up as he builds strenght and form. As a old guy I am only pulling 50-55 lbs anymore and can't really see the need to increase that as any place I hunt a 30 yard shot is about max. Man it's a kick to watch them younguns catch on to archery.
