Old bow help

I was looking into getting a used Damon howatt mamba, but neither the owner or myself could determine how old the bow was, the serial number is hm402 if that helps at all it's also all black wood instead of the black and brown I've been seeing for the past couple of uears any help is much appreciated thanks in advance

The serial number would indicate it was the second Mamba made in 2004. That's as much as I can tell you asI've been away from traditional gear since 1974.
