View Full Version : Cougar Vs Jaguar

I have a Cougar 2000 Elite with Fury cams currently undergoing repair. I have a chance to get a Jaguar with Dyna-cam.
Which is the better bow for target shooting all distances up to 100 yards?

I would say the cougar due to my dislike of single cams. The uneven nock travel created porpoising I couldn't tune out of my old Mathews Drenalin. That is the reason I went to Martin, and now I will never go back to the dark side;)

Definitely the dualie for the reason flytier said. Also, with single cams there is generally some cam lean (bottom limb) that causes sideways oscillation of the string so lateral movement of the string can happen.
Usually it's not so exteme to cause problems at yardages out to 50 yards or so, but there is always some accuarcy loss. Beyond 50 yards I wouldn't want to guess, and at 100 yards I wouldn't even think about a single cam----any single cam, or Binary.
