I have a 2010 Firecat TR2 that when bottomed out is only getting 53lbs. It has 2H limbs on it , so my question is this is suppose to be max at 60lbs so are these the correct limbs for 60lbs?

well i have to toss out the age old is your bow meeting specs question.stock string or after market, could be string stretch depending on how many shots you have through it.and like said above....twist er up.i really dont get the 2,3,4,5, thing.i know H is high,L is low,M is medium.my 2010 bengal has 5M limbs and maxes out at 70 lbs......73 with the ccs.a ccs would give you an extra 3-5 lbs of draw weight as well

I am willing to bet neither are correct that is why you have lost poundage. The cable is too long and not holding the pre load on the limbs. You should be maxed out at 62lbs, totally bottomed out. You will need to add twists to both cables and make sure that the timing stays correct. You may have to add a few twists in the string as well.

Hutch,

Measured ATA and brace height and you are correct. ATA listed at 32.25" actual 33". Brace height listed 7" actual 6.5". Guess I have some work to do. Thanks Hutch!

Hey Hodrod, I would shoot for 8 twists to each cable and 4 twists to the string. Remember to check your nocking point it will probably change.
