drop rest conversion

Thought some of you might like this. I was tinkering with an NAP Quicktune 800 prong rest the other night before bed and converted it to a drop away rest. All I did was reverse the tension spring so it's pulling the prongs down instead of keeping them up. Then I took a locking collar from another rest to attach the pull cord to. It seems to function properly but haven't shot it yet. Pics as required:cool:

That is how my older Martins rest is set up. Its an old NAP rest converted to drop away. I think I bought I conversion kit for it years ago. I actually like it other than the fact there is no marks for adjustment so minute adjustments can be a pain. But once set....it works well.
