Hi again! My brother and each got 2011 panteras recently. The question i have is why would his have great letoff and mine suck on letoff? My brothers letoff is near 80%. But mine is prob somewere around 60%. Any thoughts? Also the bow i got was the one at cabelas that had the rest on it for test shooting. My brothers had never been shot as far as we know.

Not sure what cam system they have but have the draw stops been adjusted after draw length changes made!draw stops control letoff.

Yes SK the draw stops have been adjusted. I think they are the acutrak cam. I have tryed everything i can think of (which isnt much:rolleyes:) to correct it.

Are they both set to the same draw weight?

Yes they are both set to the same draw weight to within 2#

Are they both set for the same draw length? You say the draw stop is set OK, but make sure the bow has the right module. It could be that it has a module for a longer draw length. In this case the draw stop will stop the draw short of the module's draw length.

They are bot set to the same draw lenght 27". i have adjusted the draw stop both ways and nothing helps.

One way to tell is to loosen the draw stop. Draw the bow back till the string sets in the module then set the draw stop. Then measure the draw length. They should be very close if not the same. Remember do not over draw the module, which is easy to do. Draw it back with some one watching the string when it seats in the groove set the stop. The draw stop ends up being your back wall and the module ends up being your draw length.

I have set the draw stop to where it does over draw the module and nowere in that draw does it come to correct letoff.

Then I would call C/S @ Martin and see if there is something we are missing.

Are the draw stops set in the exact same location? If not, check the modules, if those are set to different lengths that is going to change the positioning of the draw stop which would in turn change the let off. Just my theory.

I wonder about something. Martin at one time had 65% letoff modules. Yours doesn't have mod marked F3/ does it? The slash after the number means it's 65%. Just curious as to whethr they may have put the wrong mod on it.

No I dont think think it has the slash on it but i am only gettign about that for letoff tho.

Just an up date. I was getting fed up with the SOS and TRG on my bow so i put a cable slide an sts on. For some reason that took care of my let off:confused:.Anybody else have this problem?
