6947My days of climbing trees are about done so I am looking for something a little shorter than my Onza. I need to use a fairy small blind where I hunt. Don't see any Crossfires for sale, I really like the Nitro Cam and a 50lb draw. Suggestions welcome. I have a Diamond Iceman that's a very nice bow but getting hard to pull from a sitted postion. Is this guy makin a scrape? Tail up sure looks like it to me. That would be a 20 yard shot.

Probably the Crossfire. If you don't mine a single, the Bengal is pretty compact and one heck of a bow.

Can't find any Crossfires, has Martin not produced any for 2012?

Might be pretty hard to fill that order. The shortest bow Martin has made is the Cheetah and Crossfire at 30". The Onza is 33 3/4". Just round it up to 34" and that's only 2" top and bottom.

That deer loks like he's running from something. When they scrape both rear feet ould be on the ground and he's be pawing with a front hoof.

Thanks Fish; Maybe An Exile with the Fury Cam in 60lbs max. Never seen one running with his head down like that, have a picture of a doe in the exact same place, check this buck out on the cam trail pics.

Silencer works great in a blind.

Unfortunately I don't have one of them for sale. I do have a new 2011 Exile though. Check the classifieds.

I agree with this. I think the Onza will be just fine for a blind and don't think 2" added to each end will matter much. In a small blind the problems usually show up from the arrow sticking out too far in front before the bow is drawn, then the draw elbow hitting the back of the blind at full draw.

i can't climb anymore , never did like it anyway! i use a pop up blind & natural blinds ever now & then. i use my alien x 32 ATA set at 55 lbs. could do 60, 55 more comfortable to pull sitting. if you are useing a real small blind you may have trouble with any bow once you nock an arrow. my blind is pretty large ,i have to set back almost against the back wall to be able to swing my bow around with a 29" arrow . i use mangus heads, i stuck a couple holes in my old blind . good luck & good shooting!

Want a really short ATA bow for a ground blind? Take a look at this thing! Libertyarchery.com Would almost be worth getting one just to shoot once. lol
