I found a nice deal on one. It had some cam lean so the guy sent it in to Martin for new limbs, cams, strings etc. It's basically new again.
So all the upgrades are done to it.

I was watching jason blazas(spelling might be wrong) on You Tube and the more i watch the video and listen to his review and the rating he gives it....
it just makes me want a speed bow that is only 3.6lbs.
The firecat really does compete against some of the 2012-2013 bows that are fresh on the market.
Cheap Speed basically.
Call me crazy, but i really have always loved the look of the Firecat.
When i get it setup..i will post some pics and a quick review.

Wish you luck with it. I had a 2008 model tht split a limb and was upgraded with 2010 parts---all but the riser. I sold it to a friend and he just loves it. For me it was good, except that I prefer a longer a2a bow.

I wish you the best of luck with it. The '09 Firecat was my favorite Martin bow of them all. Still have one, but it's been updated with the Nitro cams. Still a great bow, but just not the same as the original.

No, before 2011 they were CAT cams.
