Well I just came in from shooting and I'm impressed to say the least. This bow is smooth as silk and its dead in the hand. Only problem is this bow is costing me some serious cash in arrows lol, pics to come!

Telling us stories and posting pics are something totally different lol. I am glad to hear the bow seems to be everything you wanted though! I am rather pumped for this weekend. I am going to a few local shops to buy parts to deck out my buddies recent Alien X purchase which he got from ehunter on here. He is pumped, but my love for tinkering with bows means I get to work on his as well! I am then going to get both of ours set up properly, do the cam timing, and then paper tune them. Here in ND we don't have nice outdoor weather right now, so we are going to go shooting at his heated shop. I can get off a 20 yard shot in the heated part, but could do 50+ in the colder potato storage bins if I felt it!

I'm currently shooting 56lbs and a 28 inch draw the bow out of the box weighed 4lbs even I have not weighed it with accessories its a tack driver best Martin bow I've ever owned by far this thing does nothing upon the release except make you wonder if it went off lol

Did some shooting today and I found some pros and cons but she is a tack driver and by far the most quiet Martin and possibly the most quiet bow in general I've shot.

I just got mine on Friday and am in the process of setting it up as well...I notice you only have a front stab on yours...are you going to go with a sidebar? If not, why? My nemesis seems to balance a bit better with a sidebar, but feels very good without as well...

I played with a full v bar and just one side bar, but I feel this bow balances great with just a main stabilizer personal preference. I feel the extra cash for the minor difference wasn't necessary.

Things I didn't really care for is the ccs cable system, and the grip mainly the leather around the grip. The leather was already bunching up on me at the top of the grip I took and wrapped the grip in a athletic wrap and made it a lot nicer. The ccs I feel puts to much torque on the bow and a cable slidewould be a lot nicer and bow friendly. I like the light weight mix with the longer axle to axle, makes a bow that has the capability to add weight in the right places without making the bow to heavy.

It seems the black carbon has caught many an eye!:) I thought about getting the nemesis because its a nice bow but my preference is a shorter lighter bow but 3.5 lbs isn't much from 3.8. That is why I got the Alien, shorter and a little lighter. That is a nice bow! congrats as well.

Congrats, looks great. I like a little longer ATA and some weight as well, with the solid back wall I think the weight helps me with pin drift.

Okay so instead of starting a new thread ill do my review here.

Out of the box fit and finish- Better then my previous Martins, but not perfect still a couple machining marks and one paint hiccup but overall looks very nice.

Cam Comparison Nitro 2 to the Nitro 3- I feel no significant difference The Nemesis draws very smooth but so did my Onza, I feel the Nemesis might be a little smoother but that could be because of the ccs.

Stability of the bow and Feel at the shot- This is one of the most stable bows i have ever shot its right there on target and stays right there after the shot the bow does absolutely nothing but sit there and look good lol, No kick or vibration. Holds very Steady.

Tuning- I was not able to get a perfect bullet through paper but i walked back tuned it with a bareshaft at twenty yards and got it close enough part of the reason why i won't and never will get a bullet through paper is because of the cam system being a hybrid cam system without a double yoke Cam lean is there and always will be, You mix cam lean with a CCS roller guard you get a lot of side torque on the bow this worries me with the split limbs i feel in the future there will be a reliance on one limb which will cause limb failure I will be looking into replacing the Roller Guard with a cable slide and tilt tamer. But after Walk back tuning and Bareshaft tuning i was able to hit dimes at 20 yards with this bow so very accurate.

Speed- 28 inch draw 360 grain arrow 56 pounds i got 271-273 i had a peep and a dloop with a brass knock on the string with some silencers i feel this bow is right there with ibo which is good to hear for 3D.

Draw Cycle-Silky smooth

Overall summary and score comparison- Besides the Roller guard its a great bow my scores (not trying to brag or sound like a backyard Pro) But are the best in all 3 of my league nights, and lets just say shooting this bow is no different. My first time shooting this bow on my league night i shot my average and then over my average so i see nothing but improvement form here on out. I don't shoot 5 spot we shoot 3 Paper animal target we shoot all three at 6 different yardages Scoring is the Quarter size ring is a 5 the palm of your hand size ring is a 3 anything else is a 1 or a zero, Perfect game is a 90 ive shot 86 is my highest, my average is 76 It's a friendly competition nothing more but fun to shoot.

I got a chance to set up and play with my brother in law's new Nemesis 35 this weekend. I'll let him do his review on it, but I gotta say, the pics and media and the hype doesn't do this bow justice. It is a SWEET bow.

I'm a little heart sick though because I've had the opportunity to play with a lot of bows over the last few years, because friends buy them and I help set them up. My brother in law has been good for a new bow every year for the last 4-5 years, effectively feeding my addiction lol. I can honestly say that I believe this will be his last bow for a while... :(

Congrats on a sweet shooter guys!

Hey man, yours is set up for 28" so is my alien. Is everything going smooth for you with the tuning. Had issues with mine and I had to return it...,. I love the nemesis , but I just can't have a 35" hunting bow .

Thanks wabbit.

Im not much good at writing reviews, however i will give it a try when i get a chance. To be totally honest, i havent been able to really shoot it. Wabbit and i got a chance to shoot a little bit over the weekend as he stated and the bow is SWEET and no, i wont be looking for a new bow anytime soon. Heres the first impressions: dead in the hand, butter smooth, longer ata fits me much better. Set at 69.5#'s, 28 3/4 true draw eith 535 grain arrows we where seeing speeds right at tje 261fps mark.

Anything to add wabbit?

Had a little bit of trouble tuning, but that ended up being the fault of the drop away not being set right. It is dead quiet though! And since you're a bigger guy it does seem to fit you way better than the 32" ATA bows you've been shooting the last few years.

Bow tuned at almost dead 0 both vertically and horizontally; I'd say it turned out alright considering that after a rough tune and set up you hit that apple at 40 yards.... well you skinned the apple, I pegged it dead center with my Onza ;).

Sure rub it in. But concidering i havent really shot a bow since september (long story), i'd say i did purdy guuud. Factor in that i cant step out my back door and shoot anytime i want and thats even better.

But your right, I i did have some issues tuning it, thanks again for the hand there.

Now i have shot wabbits onza and he has shot my nemesis, in my opinion, they are very simular. If your looking at both and cant decide consider this. I am 6' and have a wing span of 75", the longer ata fits me perfect. I can hit all my anchors and the nemesis feels natural in my hands. Wabbit is around 5'9" with a shorterwing spa and the onza fits him very well. The choice is of cource yours.
