need help with painting...

Hey everyone, I need some help or a step by step on how to paint my riser. The thing is, I don't wanna do the whole the risers, just some places where the paint has worn off.

I have a camo risers currently, but I wanna update it, and use black paint and make it kind of swirl in with the camo to give it a neat design. Kinda like flames almost. But I don't wanna strip my whole riser down.

Any insight?
