View Full Version : Why do Martin Cams have beveled grooves for the cables

i noticed that the martin nitro 1.5 and 2.0 cams seem to wear the end servings on my cables of my shadowcat and onza...its not the wear that others have seen with the module and cam alignment issue...just the fraying of the serving that is reeled onto the cam...is this caused by the beveling in the grooves? is there any reason they are beveled as opposed to just a round groove found on other bow's cams....or is is just low quality serving used on the stock strings that can't take the wear and tear?
