I know it's not a Martin so take it easy on me.
Been looking at the Anarchy since it came out but the price has kept me just looking. I got a killer deal on a new, in box 2011 so I bought it. The 11,12, and 13 all have the same specs and are currently selling for $899 everywhere so when I seen it for $430 shipped I jumped. Wanted to try a 35" ata, prefer split limbs, curious about the roller cable guard/slide, single cam, and figured why not. Gotta say so far I like it. Put my favorites on it, HHA 5510, Ripcord, and a Fuse Axium stab. I can tell you this thing is fast, quiet, light and well balanced. The draw is not as smooth as my Ridge Hunter but fairly close, the Bear has a slight "hump" where the Ridge Hunter doesn't. Got it sighted at 20 before it got dark and no disappointments in accuracy. It does however bury half the arrow in the targets.

Sweet lookin bow NN. That is one that's peaked my interest for a while now too. Sounds like you got one heck of a deal on it.

Sweet bow and a nice shooter. The only thing thats kept me from buying a Bear is the grip.

not gonna lie their 2013 lineup looks pretty sharp. The Motive and Empire are pretty sweet lookin' rigs.

Might be difficult to press if you work on your own stuff, but diffinately a very nice bow. What poundage?

04-16-2013, 07:48 PM
Poundage is 60-70 currently at 68lbs. There is no comparison with speed, this is hands down the fastest bow I've owned. No vibration on the shot from the riser to speak of or that I've noticed. I think I will put whiskers on the string, seems like there is a little noise there. It may be the string hitting the stops and I'm not sure if they are adjustable? They just slide over an aluminum rod till it stops. Going to get to Hutch to make a new set for it and hopefully all that will go away and pick up a little speed. It's been snowing off & on today so haven't got to play much, only shot 10 arrows today but they were all good. May also turn it down to 66 when I get new strings for a bit? time will tell. For a longer ata bow the Anarchy is extermely light. Will chrono it when I come across one, advertised fps is 330 and I'm guessing it will come close. But... When I put my bows through a chrono I use the same arrows I hunt with so my results are real & my arrow weight is 425gr.

Nice! I've also looked at the anarchy, great choice! The Bear brand has really upped its game in recent years, I think they are planning a run on the top 3 and I hope they succeed lol (I'm a sucker for the underdog).
