I am seeing a few 2012 Cougars for sale with Accu Trak cams on them. I thought all the 2012's had Fury cams on them. Anyone know anything about this??????

Not so. The Fury cam was discontinued in 2003. I assume you are talking about the Fury XT cam which was new in 2012. I guess it's possible there were a few AccuTrack cams left and used on 2012 bows, but a more plausible explaination is that people are mistakenly labeling them as 2012 bows when they are infact 2011 bows. On second thought something else is amiss because Martin didn't make the Cougar on 2011.

So tell me, where are you seeing such ads? You got me wondering now.

It's possible that Martin used the rest of their Accu-Trak cam on those bows as bfisher was saying, and now they're being sold.

Wow! That's a good deal. $285.99 That risers is one of Martin's best that I've used and the Accu-Trak on my 2010 Pantera was amazingly accurate, maybe not the fastest but all round great set up. This Martin Franken bow looks like the Fire Cat 360 of 2011. The spec or close to the FC 360, both at Brace of 7.25, this cougar's ATA is 31.5 and FC 360 was 32. I wonder if power tough limbs are on it. Speeds are 10mph faster on the FC 360 compared to this cougar. If you're looking at Martin's old spec, this cougar is really close to the 2010 Pantera with Acc-Trak cams. I think it would be a great buy depending on the limbs? Good buy for someone getting into archery and hunting.

From what I understand KM is an outlet store for leftovers and such so what AS said is probably correct. They made up some bows with leftover AcuTrack cams to use them up. If at $285 then that's an exceptional buy.

Concur, if that bow is still there next week I'm buying it. I could put and old drop, sight and quiver on it and make a 100 or so on it. Or just keep it.

Hmmmmm i like the looks of the acu track cams idler better then the fury xt cam anybody notice any performance differences between the two? obviously adjustability goes to the fury xt but i'm thinking a Pantera with an acu track cam would be a cool little hunting machine.

Edit: Keep your eyes peeled for one of those!

Look these bows over very carefully............
I know a few that have gotten these and there have been some real problems.
Great deals but really inspect them before you shoot....

I'm eyeing a silencer with the fury xt cam.....That riser is the steadiest that I have ever held!!!!!
I know what it can do with the accutrak cam.......curious to see or hear what it will do with the fury cam.

it's part of martin........from what i've heard from a pretty good source, it's in the same building as Martin.

Wish I had gotten this earlier today. I was on the phone with Carley and could have asked her and know for sure.

I had a member on here a couple of weeks ago, mention it to me. He was having issues with this bow, km archery purchase. But he was telling me some of the issues when the topic of KM archery came up. I think someone told him at martin what the deal is with KM.
I'm just going on what he said.
Pretty much, the same deal that Darton does with there leftovers from the previous year.
