Mark was walking down the street when he was accosted by a particularly dirty and shabby-looking homeless man who asked him for a couple of dollars for dinner.

Mark took out his wallet, extracted ten dollars and asked, "If I give you this money, will you buy some beer with it instead of dinner?"

"No, I had to stop drinking years ago," the homeless man replied.

"Will you use it to go fishing instead of buying food?" Mark asked.

"No, I don't waste time fishing," the homeless man said. "I need to spend all my time trying to stay alive."

"Will you spend this on deer corn to hunt deer instead of food?" Mark asked.

"Are you NUTS!" replied the homeless man. "I haven't hunted in 20 years!"

"Well," said Mark, "I'm not going to give you money. Instead, I'm going to take you home for a shower and a terrific dinner cooked by my wife."

The homeless man was astounded. "Won't your wife be furious with you for doing that???

Mark replied, "That's okay. It's important for her to see what a man looks like after he has given up drinking, fishing and hunting!"

Yeah, but I'd have to cook and he'd have to wait. My wife would be fishing or hunting. And I'm at least 3 fishing rods behind in re-stringing and she wants at least 100 rounds loaded up for her S&W .41 mag. It's enough to make me take up drinking :(

And Sonny, you're one of the lucky ones! :p

And Sonny, you're one of the lucky ones! :p

You ought to see the pictures I have of my wife and her game taken. 8 or 9 deer, tons of fish (6 and 7 pound bass), more turtles (one 31 pounds), squirrels, rabbits, turkeys (took the head off one with her .41 mag)....
A couple more...a Walleye, 10 pounds and a flathead, 39 pounds if I remember correctly.

There's only one thing that irks me to no end. If we go fishing...there ain't a crowbar big enough to pry her off the bank or out of the boat. I'm tellin' ya, she is the one who can catch a fish out of 5 gallon bucket of tap water. Yeah, sit right there until one grows up. Took her Crappie fishing one evening. 437 Crappies and the sun coming up when she decided we caught enough. You don't wanna know how long I cleaned fish before I got to bed.
