Double duty, but I'll bet double pay, too, right? Working on the holiday, LOL. Happy birthday, Bill. Don't spend it all on one bow.

2.5 pay is wrong, Bill, you would have made 1 days pay anyway so you only got 1.5 pay for the holiday. Years ago a fellow named Pete Wilson signed into law that you could not get overtime until after 40 hrs. So the company I worked for decided they could work me 40hrs straight and let me stay home the rest of the week. Wow I don't think anyone would want a pilot in the skies for that long but it was ok for me to run a 165 ton crane for 40 hrs. straight, realllllllllly a dumb idea.

PS HAPPY FOURTH! Just watched Memphis Belle for the umtenth time and could not help remembering my Uncle Pete who served with the 8th Army Air Corps in England. Ground crew when he was eighteen, said it was really rough sending B-Seventeens' up only to see half of them come back. All service people are heroes no matter where they serve.
