The wife & I decided the motorhome was just too expensive for our needs. Sold it a few weeks ago and bought this. Got a killer deal on it & a 3000 watt Yamaha inverter. 1999 23 foot Mallard, think I'll be able to get this in a lot more places with less effort. My deer season opens August 10 & runs thru September 9th. My unit this year is fairly close to home but has a few places that are a couple hours away. If I'm not fortunate in the first few days were going to take it up in the hills and see what happens there.

Very nice NN! I'd have to say that's a fine looking setup :). My wife informed me that she is tired of tenting it for our summer camping trips, and that she wants a trailer. Her other comment was that if we had a trailer with a shower, I might not smell as bad when I come home from hunting camp LOL... Either way we will be looking for something similar before long. ;)

Love the way goosenecks pull. Last one I had would hold ten mother cows if the calves were young enough to toss up in the neck; know the capacity on yours? {:>)

Good luck Wabbit. The wife wanted a pull trailer so both vehicles could tow it, she has a Yukon. I've towed both years ago (pre current wife) and a 5th wheel is the only way to go. Here in Nevada the wind blows hard and often & the wife's never experienced a whipping trailer at speed. My truck is only a 1500 1/2 ton, 4.8L 5 speed manual so we needed something under 25 feet. Ours is 23.5 but looks like 27+ on the inside & my truck pulls it nicely. Definitely better than a tent and air conditioning & a shower after a long day in the field sure feels nice. The microwave comes in handy for those times you just don't want to cook.

Had to retire the 1/2 ton, just couldn't get the job done in the sticks. Next years hunting trips & camping spots will be anywhere we like!!

Got rid of the 20's and went down to 17's, rides much smoother and looks 100% better.

Have another project nearing completion. 86 Yamaha TT600, much quieter than the XR600.

After: Have a few more vinyl details to put on and fender racks to make. The wife is redoing the seat with Bonz as the MC2 doesn't quite look right. They don't make MC2 True Timber vinyl and I can't find predator Deception 3D material.
