I'm converting one of my bows to a target setup, and I'd like to know what you guys (and gals) think of the Tack Driver rest by Trophy Ridge.

The Trophy Taker Tack Driver is said to be one nice lizard tongue rest. All that is needed is the correct blade thickness and usually .010 or .011" will do. Of course arrow weight being the issue and then vane spacing.
Virtually any of the lizard tongue arrow rests on the market today are great target rests. To me, unless of world caliber archer, a drop rest will well get the job done and weight and vane clearance a non-issue.
Lizard tongue rests and drop rests share two things in common, they range from fairly inexpensive to quite expensive and all are difficult to say which gives greater accuracy. Most expense comes from being user friendly...micro adjustable and all that...
I have thought many times to go with a lizard tongue, but believe wisely haven't. I still use a drop rest, the original Limb Driver, but not that it is more accurate than any shoot through prong rest I've used. My QuikTune 3000 and 3D Rover shoot throughs give all the accuracy I can put forth.
