Thanks. I did not have to modify anything, because the Jaguar comes with two holes in the back. The one in use is threaded of course, and the one next to it is not.

Thanks LB. I think it's safe to say that it's the best slide I've ever had. I had one years ago, but I didn't use it very much and now I regret getting rid of it.

ok but seriously... in the pic with your trophy take rest, you have a piece of black foam sitting on the shelf, that has an arrow "tunnel" through it...

did this come with the rest? if not, what did you make it from?

my bowtech has a trophy take drop away, and what appears to be the same type of guide. except that on mine, all that's left are the remnants of the left side. the right side is missing. so sometimes just before i draw, the arrow will fall off to the right.

I used a piece of adhesive foam from a brake and gas pedal cover kit that I had. It had double-sided adhesive, but I just scraped one side off.

Dear AS- Love your bows...your serial number on your Firecat says it was made in 2010...fyi. Maybe Dec 31st and that's why it likes the snow so much. Also enjoy reading your posts.

Thanks. The Firecat 400 was released in 2011, but I guess mine was made at the end of 2010, or that was a typo in the serial#.

Nah Brad, I don't think its a typo; its a 2011, it was just constructed in 2010 to get a jump on the 2011 roll out. My Onza is the same way ;)

Yeah, I knew it was definitely a 2011. I definitely love the riser, and I won't be parting with this bow.

Brad, that bow was originally sold to a Martin sales rep to show the new 2011 line of bows. The reps get the first bows made, so that's the reason for the 2010 serial number. Before I got it, it had never been shot. The rep had a 60# version that he had set up with a sight and rest for dealers to shoot. A few had drawn it back, but it had never been fired. Glad you're still liking it!
