Hello all,

i'm a proud owner of a Martin Hunter with 45#. Can you tell me the minimal arrow-weight for this bow (lbs/inch).

Thank you very much for an answer...

I tried the customer service/tech contact at the martin page, but it doesn't work??!!

Greetings from germany

As with most bows today the rcommended arrow weight is 5 gr/lb of draw weight.

Hey, a german.

Der Customer Service sollte aber eigtl funktionieren, es sei denn du hast eine gmal-addy oder ähnliches.

I would recommend a Minimum of 9 gr./lb. for any recurve/longbow.

That would equate to a 405 gr, minimum arrow weight.

Good Luck!

Thank you for your answers...
Excuse my mistake, of course not lbs/inch - gr./lb, sorry.

My new arrows (Beman MFX and Gold Tip Trad.Hunter) are over 400gr - i think this is ok.
