My hardware came in the mail today.

Today in the mail I received my plaque for second place in a 2008 IBO World Qualifier match. (see picture below)

Along with it came an official invitation to the IBO World Championship match in New York this August.

Just for hoots, I am thinking about attending the New York World match.

Alright let the teasing begin like... no competition in a place like Scipio, Indiana, or old guys in Sr Hunter class are barely able to walk much less shoot, or there must have only been 2 guys in the class, or you must have ordered that plaque yourself since there is no name on it. I have heard them all from my family already.

Still, I can go to the world championship and participate if I want to. Na-ne-na-ne-boo-boo to you. LOL

Actually this is kind of exciting for a 53 year old rookie just ending his first year in archery.

Congratulations. I think I'd go and not worry about how I did. My daughter and I helped with the kids shoot at last years event.
