Glad to hear such a story. I hope you will be able to post some more stories of your success. Archery is just a wonderful thing to do and you just got top notch equipment for a really low price.

The MPro ought to make a really nice cam for your purpose - good choice and goos shooting.

I have gone back and shot real arrows, instead of just drawing bow and after recent TruGlo sight and Limbsaver stablizer upgrades shot #s 49-66 and these are last six from 20yds. I love this sport and hope to shoot more often.
Wierd how you know when you shoot a flier:eek:

Thought you'all would find this interesting. Using my old ammo reloading gear, I went down to the range and shot thru my Chrony F-1. Cheetah set at 52lb draw # and 29" drawlength, about 150g of weight on the string, 436g arrows w/4" vanes shooting thru WiskerBiscut, using Truball release. average for 5 shots 222fps, works out to a 48kE. I figure going to 60lb draw and 365g arrows might get me another 30fps, not really that important to me, but?
If I ever go hunting it'll be for wild boar, plentiful down here in Florida.
So what kinda heads should I try to paper fine tune, in case:D

Using those no.'s and 50gr (not 150) on string would come out right at that. 150 seems awfully high. I'd stay with a good fixed head and you'll be just fine. I've been using MX3's and they fly well for me. There are many good heads out there though.

I bought some Goldtip expedition shafts and Muzzy 4-blades but have not shot yet. I took my bow to 55# and drop'd 66g arrow weight so hope to get close to 250fps, and your right about weight on string, was just guesstimating that 150. Hope to pick up some Muzzy practice heads and go shoot this wkend. Would it be more honest to shoot IBO with real as sold setups? Find it hard to believe Cheetah can shoot 315-320fps IBO! Anyhoos, I love the smooth draw and have been pleased with my progress on the two ranges one 20yd other 25.

I used 315 when I came up with your numbers. I think 315 is pretty impressive for that cam too.

Setup and tested QAD Ultra-Rest HD Pro and like what I see and hear so far, still can't get enough time to practice but love:D spending $$ on this!
