View Full Version : Got my Cheetah - Any Pointers

Picked up my Cheetah today... will get it ready to shoot tonight... any pointers you wish to share with me for this bow.

Should you wax these Strings?

I have been shooting same Pearson for the past 10 years... this is going to be a real change for me, it is short compared to my Pearson's 37" A2A... and that was one of the selling points. This bow really has lots of selling points, per reading spec's - for the price. I have never shot one, so I hope it is as quite as my Pearson... I know it will be lot faster.

BTW, this is one of the Academy Pkg Cheetah's... I have to tie the pre-installed Peep, it's loose to adjust (what should I use to tie?), have to install Sight, Tie on Release Loop... might be all?

the martin cheetah is a outstanding bow but the only downside is it weighs a TON good hunting bow not 3d or competition. Hope you have fun with it.

I got rid of the original strings and cable. The bow shoots much better and much more quiet. Prostrings are the way to go.
