Scepter II cable rod question

On the back of my Scepter II...I have four threaded holes.
One of course is at a 45 degree angle down.....
With my cable rod in the center "typical" mount location of the rod.
I cant get clearance for my 4" feathers to clear the cable.
So I moved the rod to the outer hole right next to that center position.
How about that threaded hole up above the sight and rest?
Do people run the cable rod up high like that???

If the center hole dosent give me clearance as I said.
Is it better to go right next to it, or up high?

I do not know the riser design of the Scepter 2 but you should stay at the center part of the riser. When moving up or down you will create additional tension on the cams and limbs on one side leading to cam lean.

Montalaar is correct. Stay near the center if at all possible that way you keep equal tension on both limbs and cams and the degree of offset is less pronounced the farther away you are from either limb.

This is the way it should be mounted. I don't have any problem with my 4" Feathers. I could turn my cable rod farther and clear 5" if I wanted.

Actually when I took this picture I had just put the bow together and I had the cable rod turned up and out. It should be turned down and out.
