View Full Version : Martin Magnum Cougar bow questions

I bought my bow new and had it set up for me in I believe '01 (not sure) I am now looking to have it tuned up and need to find out what the let off of the cam is. It is a Fuzion cam but with numbers on it other than the 1,2 and 3 pin. The cable is on the #2 pin.

I would like to help you but since martin has updated the website i am unable to find any of the information i am used to...

You don't need a chart to figure letoff. It might not be what the chart says anyway.

Draw the bow on a scale. Watch to see what the peak weight is. Then when the cam rolls over and into the valley see what the weight is just as you let up a hair.

Example: Bow peaks at 60. Holding weight is 15. Divide 15 by 60 and you get .25. Subtract .25 from 1.00 (one) and you get .75 . Move the decimal 2 places to the right and add the percent sign and you get 75%. That's the amount of letoff.
