I have had my Firecat for a month now and have just got around to sighting it in. I would have fired aroung 100 or more shots through it. It was shooting great until this happened to the bottom limb::(

Is this common?

How should I go about getting this fixed?

Cheers

It will be covered under warrenty provided you still have POP and are the original owner. Talk to a Martin Pro-Series dealer, or call Martins tech service.

Best of luck with that man

What Alec said. I see you are from "down under" so calling customer service might not be an option. As stated, if you are the original owner then take it back to your dealer. He will have to order you new limbs and they should certainly be covered by the warranty.

FYI, this is the first time I've ever seen a limb break at that point. And I've owned a lot of bows by a lot of maufacturers over the last 3+ decades.

Why do limbs break?

Is it due to:

- manufacturing defects
- design
- age
- misuse

Cheers :)

Any or all the above except for age.
