08 Slayer cable clearance

I just got my 08 Slayer and noticed that the cables do not have very much clearance between them and the cam's?? I am also shooting carbons with blazer veins and the hit the cable's. Has any one else had this issue?? A friend of mine was reading some where that you need an off set cable guard and if you call Martin costumer service that they will send you one. Is this true. I emailed Martin C.S and have not gotten a response back yet. I thought I would ask you guy's if any one else has experienced this??

Ps. My last bow was a Martin Pantara (1993) and it still shoots great.:cool:

I kinda do remember some one saying they needed a offset cable guard for clearance on thir bow, I think it was on Archerytalk. Anyways Mike call Martin on Monday at 1-800-541-8902 and ask for Joel C tell him what you need and he can get it out to you!:cool:
