We were discussing NOS X systems a while ago, and the bearing/bushing issue came up. I just saw a photo of the NOS X cam here: http://www.martinarchery.com/mtechforum/showthread.php?t=3452
Those bearings are not the same as on my cams. Mine are a solid brass tube. Could it be that Martin made some with sealed bearings, and some without?

What year is your bow. I know the standard some years ago was brass bushings, but without doing some research I couldn't tell you when they went to bearings.

My guess is that maybe you have a prototype...you know one they used during the infancy stages of the cams. However I would still bet that it is a brass bushing like they used in the Fury cam and presently use in the Furious cam...not a sealed bearing. Just my 2 cents.

HMMM, it is an 07, purchased in 08. Seems a bit late for a prototype. Who knows?
