Cable slide or long axle kit

Hello to all,
I just purchased an all but new 08 Scepter 4 with the Furious X Cam shoot thru system. I came home and put a rest on it, eyeballed the center shot and knocked an arrow (blazer vanes) only to see I had vane clearance issues. I do not want to re-fletch my arrows. Is it possible to add a cable slide, or would I be better off going with the long axle kit? This bow will be used for spots and 3D only. This is my first Martin Bow as well as my first post on this forum.

I bought the long axle kit this week. Its like 22 bucks. Bow shoots great with it too. I did have some issues with having enough spacers. I also found the barnesdale sells a set of string splitters but they are like 60 bucks. My slayer was the first shoot through I have ever owned. I like it alot and I am driving tacks with it. I shoot clx ss shafts with blazers and I have plenty of clearance now. Good luck and happy shooting.
