View Full Version : Moab CCS vs Bow Turbow

I just noticed the 09 CCS Cable Containment System on a picture of a Moab. So how is that any different than the Bow Turbow? It locks the cables at one point and doesn't let them slide back on a cable slide when you draw. Exactly what the Bow Turbow does.

The only difference that I can see is that you can adjust the BT forward or back whereas the CCS is fixed at one non-adjustable point. Additionally, the Moab cables in the CCS are not vertical as with a normal cable slide, but appear to be pre-stressed slightly in a further forward position.

I think as just a replacement for cable slide their would not be a problem, but since it doesnt move and a cable slide does and if your bow isnt designed for a css as a option then their could be some problems.
It will be intresting how this bowturbo thing plays out.......:)
