View Full Version : scepter 4 striker sight problem

I just took delivery of a new scepter 4 and bought a striker sight to go with it.

The problem is that the sight mount holes do not align with those that are on the riser. This seems too simple to be right .What am I missing. What sight is used for this bow . Surely this has got to be a wrong bracket or something along those lines--although I have been wrong before

The bow should be drilled and tapped to AMO standards, as are all bows. The holes are supoosed to be 1 5/16" center to center and 10X24 thread pattern.

Measure the holes in the bow and then the mount to see if they match. See which one isn't right.

By the way, for my info who makes the Striker sight?

Martin and is sold on the Martin Online Store

The bow is drilled at 1 and 2 16 th. and the sight mount at 1 and 5 16 th.

Could this be ?

I don't know what holes you were looking at and I've never taken notice on a Scepter, but glad you figured it out. Ain't it funny, though, how we do things like this and then later think ":How could I have been so dumb?"

Glad you got it.

OK, if you say so. I've done a lot of stuff like that in my life. Maybe that's why I don't have much hair left. Like slapping my forehead with my palm? Things like:

Why did I get married? SLAP
Why did I have kids? SLAP
Why am I still married? SLAP

LOL!!!! Know what I mean?
