I have an 09 firecat. i cranked the limbs up and measured the limb pockets to the shooting string. the lower was off an 1/8" or so, i then took one full turn off the lower limb to even this out. what would be the estimated draw weight or am i completly out of line for doing it this way? I will say i like how it shoots this way....

Bow specs. including tiller measurements are just close approximations of at what point the bow supposedly will perform it's best. That being said, changing the tiller as you have will usually require a slight change in nocking point, but if yoiu like how the bow feels right now then I'd just tune it as it is and enjoy shooting it.

There is nothing wrong with what you did. It won't harm the bow in any way. And you probably lost about 1 1/2# of draw weight, which is nothing. If it make the bow feel better to you then that's what's important.

does any one else bother with this? will adjusting the limb pockets do any thing with the cams?
