what is the speed i should be getting out of my martin monter buck hunter (martin 08 cheetah)at 70 pounds and 29.5 draw with a 29 inch carbon express terminator arrow at(9.1 GPI) with a drop away rest.

quick guess, i would go around the 260's, depending what is all on your string and your total arrow weight, whether or not you have a tube peep, string leaches, and so on.

i dont think thats accuret says 300 fps i dont think my bow is that fast

Depending on arrow-between 260 and 285, i think :) With the mentioned one, i guess about 270-275fps.Of course all these guesses are ...hm..., you'd better chrono it :D

I could only dream that my bow shoots as quick as thet chart works out to. Unfortunately three chrono's say 20 fps less. And that's pretty much how it always works.

the chart is about 15 to 25 fps off. I just play around with it seeing what the best speed i could get, i dont go by what is says i go by the highest number that i can get and that should be the faster arrow. i guess?:confused:

Out of my 08 Bengal I'm right at 270 fps with 27.5" draw, 68 lbs, and a 418 grain arrow.
