Misaligned bowstring

Somehow, my bowstring came of the top wheel of my Martin Trophy Hunter this morning. I took it to the local sporting goods store where it was placed on a bow press and the string was reinstalled. After the reinstallation, the bowstring is misaligned by nearly 1/2 inch left. Does anyone know why this condition now exists?

Can you post a picture? I'm not understanding just what you are trying to describe.
